Applications are invited for a PhD position in Statistics at the Institute of Mathematics of the Ecole Polytechnique Fédéralede Lausanne (EPFL).
The position will be in the Chair of Mathematical Statistics, under the supervision of Prof. Victor Panaretos, and will involve research topics related to functional data analysis, nonparametric statistics, and statistical inverse problems.
Candidates should preferably hold a degree in mathematics and/or statistics, or in EECS with a solid mathematical background. Knowledge of French is not a requirement, but will be helpful.
